Boutique
Small hotel. Big ocean. No lobby queue.
MB Hotel is an independent oceanfront property in mid-Miami Beach — a MIMO-era building with its own character, run at a scale where the staff learn your name by the second morning.
Daily Resort Fee: $29 + tax, charged per room, per night.
Location
What 'boutique' actually means here.
The word gets attached to a lot of things. At MB Hotel it means a specific set of trade-offs: a building with a single personality instead of a brand template, a room count small enough that the front desk recognises you, and a beach deck that never feels like a queue for a lounger.
The building itself is MIMO — Miami Modern, the postwar architecture that followed Art Deco up the island. Curved lines, terrazzo, deep shade, a lobby that opens rather than funnels. It has been renovated as a Trademark Collection by Wyndham property, which means Wyndham Rewards works here without the property losing its own face.
What you give up is convention-hotel scale: no ballroom wing, no twenty-four-hour buffet. What you get back is proportion. The pool is used by guests, not by a conference. The rooftop is somewhere you can find a seat.

Why MB Hotel
The case for the smaller property.
Rooms with actual outdoor space
Balcony rooms open onto the Atlantic rather than a light well. Several room types sleep four without turning into a corridor of beds — the NQQ4 and SNQ4 in particular. [VERIFY]
A beach setup that's already handled
The resort fee includes two loungers, an umbrella and towels per room. Nothing to rent, nothing to reserve at seven in the morning to secure a spot.
Food that isn't an afterthought
Caffe Frappe does crepes, salads and mimosas from 8:00am to 3:00pm, and Kalypso handles the terrace and the evening. Hours beyond Caffe Frappe's [VERIFY].
People, not policy
Group blocks, late arrivals and odd requests are handled by the property at +1 (305) 376-0359 rather than a central reservations queue in another state.
Design with a date on it
MIMO architecture is specific to this stretch of Miami Beach — low, curved, shaded. It photographs like nowhere in the South Beach core, because it isn't Art Deco pastiche.
Mid-Beach rates, oceanfront view
The nightly rate that buys an interior room in the South Beach core generally buys a balcony over the water up here. Confirm current rates when booking. [VERIFY]
