Collins Avenue
One street runs the length of the island. We're on it.
Collins Avenue carries you from South Pointe to Bal Harbour without a single turn. MB Hotel stands at 6525, oceanside, roughly at the middle of it.
Daily Resort Fee: $29 + tax, charged per room, per night.
Location
Where 6525 sits on the strip.
Collins Avenue is the spine of Miami Beach. It begins at South Pointe, runs north through the Art Deco district and the Faena block, past the mid-Beach resort row, and finally into Surfside and Bal Harbour. Almost every hotel on the island has a Collins address; what actually separates them is the number.
6525 puts us in mid-Miami Beach, in the MIMO district — the postwar stretch of low, curved, terrazzo-floored architecture that came after Art Deco and is quietly the more interesting of the two. It is a residential block. The buildings on our side of the street back onto the sand, so the beach is behind the hotel rather than across a road.
The practical consequence is that both directions are short. South Beach and Lincoln Road are twelve to fifteen minutes down the avenue; Bal Harbour Shops are under three miles up it. You are not choosing between neighbourhoods when you book here — you are sitting between them.
And because Collins is a single continuous route, orientation is trivial. Every rideshare, every bus, every walk starts with 'north' or 'south'. Guests stop looking at maps by the second day.

Why MB Hotel
What the address gets you.
Ocean side of the street
Collins has two sides, and only one of them touches the sand. We are on it, which is why balcony rooms here look at water rather than at the hotel opposite.
The quiet middle
Far enough north that the club noise never reaches the block, far enough south that nothing is a project. Mid-Beach is the part of Collins people move to.
Independent, not a chain box
A Trademark Collection by Wyndham property — Wyndham Rewards on the back end, a building with its own character on the front.
