Location

About six miles, and worth every one of them.

~6 miles / 12–15 minutes by car or rideshare to Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, and the Art Deco District. That is the whole calculation, and it is the reason people book here instead of in the South Beach core.

South Beach is a superb place to spend an evening and a difficult place to spend a week. The Art Deco strip is genuinely beautiful, Lincoln Road is the best pedestrian street in Florida, and Lummus Park on a Saturday is the city showing off. It is also loud until three in the morning, priced accordingly, and hard to park in. Guests who stay inside it tend to enjoy the first two nights and negotiate with the third.

Staying at 6525 Collins reverses the arrangement. Your day starts on a residential stretch of beach where the loudest thing is the surf, and your night ends wherever you decide — a fifteen-minute ride down Collins, or a walk to something local if the ride sounds like effort. Rideshares run constantly along Collins in both directions, so the trip is never a planning exercise.

It also changes what your money buys. The same nightly rate that gets a compact interior room in South Beach gets an oceanfront balcony up here, and the balcony is the part you remember.

Why MB Hotel

Why guests choose mid-Beach over the core.

You will actually sleep

Mid-Miami Beach is residential. There is no club soundtrack through the window and no street noise at 3am — which matters more on night four than it does on night one.

A better room for the same rate

Oceanfront Rooms with Balcony sleep up to four and open directly onto the Atlantic. In the South Beach core, that footprint and that view sit in a different price bracket entirely. [VERIFY]

A beach you can use

The stretch of sand here is wide and uncrowded, and the resort fee already includes two loungers, an umbrella and towels — so nothing has to be arranged, rented or queued for.

Fifteen minutes is not far

Collins Avenue runs straight down the island. Rideshares are constant, the fare is modest, and the drive itself is the ocean on one side the entire way. [VERIFY]
